Pathetic how bad this is now
I used to be obsessed with this chili, Id make dips, chili dogs, eat it straight. Its so watery and unflavored now, it literally looks like soup.
Its one of the more expensive chilis now, and is literally the worst value for the money. I miss the old Nalleys from the early 2000s, even the chili from 2017!
User's recommendation: Dont waste your money on this watery bean mess

Verified Reviewer |Food quality
Living in the bush in Alaska, I need quality, healthy food at a reasonable price. So, I bought a can of Nalley's beef stew and a can of Dinty Moore beef stew.
The difference between the two was quite perplexing. Dinty actually had chunks of meat in it, though I had no idea what they were, but Nalley's had nothing but what appeared to be ground-up meat by-products, and a lot of potatoes.
I was quite disappointed, as I've always enjoyed your chili, but your beef stew leaves a lot to be desired. Anyway, I'm going to stick with Dinty Moore until you convince me otherwise.
User's recommendation: Go with Dinty Moore

Verified ReviewerChili w/o Beans
Ive been buying the chili w/o beans for years. The last few years this has been the wateriest chili Ive ever seen.
Theres rarely any chunks of chili meat.
For the price I pay I expect some meat and not over 95% water. It cost me $3.49 a can.
- Good products
- Product isnt like it used to be
- Too pricey
Preferred solution: Replacement chili that has meat and not full of water.

Verified Reviewer |Bad can of chili
I just bought a case of chili from Walmart here in Marysville, California, two days ago. My daughter went to open a can to eat it and it was nothing but greasy water with dried-up chunks of hamburger and absolutely no beans.
They all turned to liquid. I took multiple pictures to prove to you all that the expiration date says July 2, 2026, and you can tell it's definitely expired.

Verified ReviewerResolved: Very disappointed
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I contacted Nalley's and explained that I had found a chunk of bone in my bowl of their chili and sent them photos of the bone. They are informed that their product contained a chunk of bone that could have caused the consumer to choke or worse& all they give them is two $1.00 off coupons that expired the day after I received them. They sure do not value the life of their customers much.
I thought maybe it was a rock or something but when I took it out of my mouth I found a piece of bone! I couldn't believe it. Needless to say that ruined my appetite and I threw the rest of that chili away as well as the several other cans I purchased because I didn't want to find any more bone fragments in my chili. I wrote a letter to the Nalley company about this incident and was shocked when I got a letter back from them apologizing and they said due to this horrible experience I had with their chili they wanted to give me something for my trouble.
What they gave me was 2 $1.00 off coupons if I decided to buy any more cans of their chili. The coupons expired after 1 week and the chili costs over $2. I guess their customers safety doesn't concern them enough to provide their customer their money back or at least a free coupon for their product (not that I would take a chance again anyways). Advice: DON'T BUY!!
You never know what you'll find in their chili! Very disgusting and horrible experience. What if I would have choked on the bone?
I bet they wouldn't care at all. So much for customer safety and satisfaction!!
- Poor product quality and bone fragments in product
Preferred solution: Full refund for the cans of chili I had to throw away after finding bone fragments in the chili. Also I would like for the company to inspect their product better to ensure no other customers have the same bad experience.
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU DON'T MIND FINDING BONE FRAGMENTS IN YOUR CHILI

Nalley Now Pinnacle from New Jersey has watered this chili down so much it's ridiculous! I will find a new brand.
At first I poured out a can on 11/22 and thought it could have been a Quality issue. I then opened 2 more cans and realized after online reviews they must have changed the process and recipe.
My guess is pinnacle is a bunch of investors that purchased Nalley and is now watering product down to squeeze the dollars out before they sell it to a large company. Zero stars
User's recommendation: Do not buy Nalley Chili

Verified Reviewer |Getting watery
Nalley Chili is like tasteless soup now. It used to be thick and had good flavor. I'm tired of standing in the store shaking cans.

Nalley is junk now. Let's keep it brief, Nalley has sold to pinnacle in new jersey. Which is most likely an investment that want to squeeze every dime out of the company prior to selling it to the next highest bidder.
User's recommendation: Do not buy this chili
Nalleys chili
I recently picked up a case of Nalleys chili. It had been awhile, probably a year or two as i had two cases.
It makes a great quick meal, lunch , breakfast etc. I was shocked and disappointed when I'd opened it and found instead of nice thick nalleys chili I found thin nalleys chili soup.
Very disappointing . Sincerely, Kevin Burger
There's only juice and half a can of chili! This was supposed to be the thick chili and it was water with a few beans in it. I will never buy this again! What a joke!
It was water a d a third of a can of chili! More expensive and a watery can of juice in a can of thick chili!
What a joke!. I will never buy this product again!
Changed ingredients
Lost two Longtime customers me and my Dad. You changed your Nellies hot chili after many many years of having the best canned chili on the market it is now garbage I will never eat it again
User's recommendation: Don’t buy
Hamburger Relish
Hello, Ive been searching for Nalley Hamburger Relish for over a year now. It just disappeared from the stores I got it from previously.
Did Nalley stop making it?,, my absolute favorite condiment for a cheese burger when grilling at home.
Its practically a side dish!!
Please dont tell me you dont make it anymore! I enjoyed it on my burgers so much!!
You have changed your chili, it's like water. Will never buy again.
The Chili has changed. It's like water now, also the ingredients are different. I will buy a different brand.
User's recommendation: Buy a different brand. Fire the people who changed it
